Clockwatch: Bradford 52-6 Salford
All the action as it happened as Bradford hosted Salford in the second Super League elimination play-off.

80 mins: FULL-TIME Bradford 52-6 Salford
The final hooters sounds. It has been a fully deserved victory for the defending champions, who dominated from start to finish. Bradford will play Warrington at Odsal next Saturday.

79 mins: Lesley Vainikolo crosses but the video referee adjudges that he lost control of the ball as he attempted to ground it.

75 mins: TRY Bradford 52-6 Salford.
The rout continues, with Shontayne Hape crossing for the fourth time. Paul Deacon adds the extras and has kicked seven out of eight conversions.

Moments earlier Lesley Vainikolo squared up with Karl Fitzpatrick - it hardly seemed an even match.

73 mins: Brad Meyers misses out on a try by the narrowest of margins, the ball is just touching the whitewash as it is grounded. Bradford's Paul Johnson has limped out - a potential concern for coach Steve McNamara.

68 mins: TRY Bradford 46-6 Salford
Sam Burgess
, 17, scores his second top-level try after a pass from Iestyn Harris. Deacon, who has been superb, adds the extras.

65 mins: TRY Bradford 40-6 Salford
Chris McKenna
just manages to collect a pass from Deacon and touches down. Deacon, who goes on to add the conversion, threw a superb dummy to create the space.

61 mins: Shontayne Hape almost scores his fourth try but drops the ball as he attempts to collect a pass.

59 mins: TRY Bradford 34-6 Salford
Andy Lynch
collects a short pass from Brad Meyers and crashes over the try line. The City Reds have been punished for another handling error. The home team have shown a ruthlessness that suggests they are serious play-off contenders.

57 mins: A decent kick from Malcolm Alker forces a Bradford drop-out but Andy Coley gives the ball away on the first tackle.

52 mins: Bradford 28-6 Salford
David Hodgson
finally puts Salford on the board with a brilliant 80-yard kick return, crossing in the corner with Michael Withers in pursuit. Chris Charles adds the conversion from out wide.

51 mins: Salford a enjoy a spell of pressure but eventually throw the ball needlessly out of play. Bradford look superb - and their attitude is epitomised by a crunching Lesley Vainikolo tackle.

48 mins: The edge has got out off the game, the Bulls are clearly going to win and it just seems to be a case of how many. Salford have never really got going and their season is petering out on a disappointing note.

43 mins: TRY Bradford 28-0 Salford
Shontayne Hape
touches down in the corner to complete his hat-trick. The New Zealand centre's legs were over the touchline but in the air as he grounded the ball and the try is awarded by the video referee. Deacon, whose kicking has been little short of sensational, adds the extras.

41 mins: Salford kick off the second half. The City Reds are in the play-offs for the first time and need to produce a staggering comeback if they are to extend their season.

40 mins: HALF-TIME Bradford 22-0 Salford
City Reds coach Karl Harrison has a stony look on his face as he heads to the dressing rooms. The opening half has belonged to Bradford, who have kicked superbly in attack and muscled-up strongly in defence.

40 mins: Paul Deacon misses with a long-range drop-goal attempt in the final seconds of the first half.

34 mins: Bradford have been in the last five Grand Finals - and look focused on reaching yet another. The Bulls force a drop out.

28 mins: TRY Bradford 22-0
Shontayne Hape
collects a short pass from Terry Newton and bundles his way over the line. It would seem to be all over for Karl Harrison's Salford, though Paul Deacon at least misses the conversion.

26 mins: Lesley Vainikolo almost collects another accurate kick from Deacon - it would have led to a certain try and put Salford completely out of the match. Bradford are dominating, while Salford already look very tired.

23 mins: A precise Luke Robinson kick earns Salford a goal-line drop-out. But can they translate their repeat set into points? Not when Malcolm Alker is penalised for a forward pass.

17 mins: TRY Bradford 18-0 Salford
Shontayne Hape
further extends the Bulls' advantage, crossing in the corner. Salford desperately need to score next if their season is not to end on a humiliating note. Deacon adds the extras to make it three from three.

13 mins: Salford enjoy four back-to-back sets but cannot convert their possession into points.

11 mins: Salford have made a terrible start and their evening deteriorates further when Andrew Dunemann leaves the field after sustaining a heavy blow to the head.

8 mins: TRY Bradford 12-0 Salford
Brett Ferres
extends Bradford's lead. Again Deacon is at the heart of the move. Salford's Luke Robinson fails to collect Deacon's grubber and Ferres reacts quickest to touch down. Deacon adds the extras once more.

7 mins: Lesley Vainikolo makes a brilliant try-saving tackle, bundling a Salford player into touch.

4 mins: TRY Bradford 6-0 Salford
Michael Withers
puts the Bulls ahead, collecting a cross-field kick from Deacon and scrambling over the try line. Deacon adds the conversion.

1800 BST: The tense clash at Odsal is under way with each team looking to earn a showdown with Warrington next week.

The Bulls, who triumphed in last season's Grand Final, face a tough task if they are to hang onto their crown after only finishing fourth in the regular season.

They play a Salford side, who are celebrating reaching the end of season play-offs for the first time thanks to their fifth-place finish.

The Bulls crushed Salford 34-4 when the sides met at Odsal in February with the Reds gaining revenge with a 17-16 success at the Willows later in the season.

The winners will host Warrington in next Saturday's elimination semi-final after the Wolves claimed a surprise win over Leeds on Friday.
