Catalans Dragons powered to an emphatic five-try win over Salford to climb off the foot of the Super League table.
The home side took control from the start, with Chris Beattie going over for a try converted by Stacey Jones.
Sean Rudder added a second 10 minutes later, with Jones adding the extras and then crossing himself before the break.
Justin Murphy went over twice in the second half while an Andy Coley try was all that Salford managed as they struggled badly in the French heat.
Salford assistant coach James Lowes "I didn't feel the team played particularly well but we're still very confident about the play-offs. "The team's performance today was disappointing but I'm hoping they don't play like that again."
