Hull extended their club record of successive Super League victories to 11 with a hard-fought win in Narbonne. The visitors surged into an early 12-0 lead with converted tries from Richard Horne and Gareth Raynor.
But tries from John Wilson and Justin Murphy kept the Catalans' half-time deficit down to 14-10.
Stacey Jones also crossed after the interval, but late tries for Shaun Briscoe and Sid Domic, with Paul Cooke landing four goals, sealed victory.
Victory for Hull took them to within two points of leaders St Helens, who travel to Wakefield on Sunday.
