Warrington kept in touch with the leading pack in Super League with a seven-try win in France. Warrington took an early lead as Brent Grose went over but the hosts hit back with Justin Murphy's converted try. Converted tries from Mike Wainwright and Logan Swann saw the visitors threaten to pull clear. Jamal Fakir's score made it 18-12 at the break but Warrington the stretched away with Simon Grix, Lee Briers, Paul Wood, Ben Westwood all crossing. Stand-off Briers had earlier this week been left out of Brian Noble's Great Britain squad. But he responded by kicking eight goals and having a hand in four of the tries as the Wolves secured their fourth straight win to move within a point of third-placed Bradford.
Warrington coach Paul Cullen:
"The trip to France has been outstanding for us with the exception of a serious injury to one of our players. "Rob Parker has a very nasty shattered cheekbone and could be out for six to eight weeks, although that is an estimate. "But I was very pleased with the night's work and I thought defensively we worked very hard. Catalans coach Mick Potter:
