MATCH SUMMARY
Hull (22) 28
Tries: Horne 2, Yeaman 2, Radford
Goals: Cooke 4
Bradford (12) 12
Tries: Withers, Pryce
Goals: I Harris 2
Hull made it five straight wins, coming from 12-6 down to beat Bradford 28-12 at the KC Stadium.

Richard Horne shone with a brace, while Lee Radford also scored and Kirk Yeaman added two more, including the second-half clincher.

Paul Cooke added four goals for Hull, while Bradford could only muster converted first-half tries from Michael Withers and Karl Pryce.

Hull led 22-12 at the half and Yeaman's last-minute score confirmed victory.

The Bulls took the lead after just three minutes when Cooke spilt an innocuous Harris kick, allowing Withers to scoot under the posts.

Harris goaled, but the scores were soon level when Ewan Dowes sent Horne sprinting clear with a superb delayed pass.

Bradford responded in kind, with Karl Pryce earning them their second lead of the night.

From then on Hull dominated - first Yeaman seized on excellent work by Motu Tony and Shayne McMenemy, before a quick double as the hooter approached hammered home their advantage.

Captain Richard Swain made a break down the centre of the field from where he fed the supporting Horne, before Cooke provided Radford with a simple try to the right of the posts.

Bradford mounted some pressure in the second half but their problems began to mount with a string of embarrassing knock-ons close to their own line, and Yeaman ensured Hull's win with his 19th try of the season in the last minute.

  • Hull coach Peter Sharp
"It was a high-quality game with a lot of good defence and I'm very pleased.

"It was a night for the front-rowers to shine, as they have to against Bradford, and they did.

"I think the players are starting to enjoy themselves. They seem to be doing so more than what I saw of them before I came."

  • Bradford coach Steve McNamara
"It was a proper game of rugby league.

"I thought both sides were evenly matched and I am so proud of the effort of our players in the face of a lot of adversity.

"I might be a young and naive coach but a few things didn't seem to go our way at crucial times."
