Danny McGuire led the way with four tries as Leeds ran riot at The Stoop to condemn new-boys Harlequins to their second straight Super League thrashing. Just 30 minutes had gone when McGuire scored his fourth of the night, with Robert Burrow and Willie Poching tries making it 36-0 at the halfway stage. Ali Lauitiiti, Chris Feather, Keith Senior and Lee Smith crossed in the second half to compound Quins' misery. It follows the hosts' 64-14 defeat to Huddersfield last week.
Harlequins coach Tony Rea:
"We were missing key players but we made too many first half lapses and that's unacceptable at this level. "We worked much harder in the second half and showed that there is spirit amongst the players. "That was a big positive but we've got to start scoring points and getting in positions where we can score." Rhinos coach Tony Smith:
"You will never get the perfect performance, but it was an excellent job done. "To nil a Super League side is a great effort. Quins had one break in the final minute and even then the players showed great desire to keep them out. "But I really feel for Quins and Tony (Rea). It's a tough time for them and it dents your confidence."
