Bradford bounced back from their two-point deduction for a breach of the salary cap to pile on the agony for relegation-threatened Castleford.
The Bulls strolled to victory, running in nine tries with two apiece from Ben Harris and Karl Pryce.
Three of the Bradford tries came when Castleford were down to 12 men.
Peter Lupton was sin-binned in the first half while Jason Payne was sent off nine minutes from time for a high tackle on Stanley Gene.
Defeat leaves Castleford just a point above Wakefield - who they meet on the last day of the regular season - in the battle to avoid relegation from the Super League.
The Bulls remain four points behind Leeds in third but have a six-point cushion over Salford in the play-off places after bouncing back from last week's shock defeat at Harlequins.
Bradford coach Steve McNamara:
"The players responded in the right manner and I'm really pleased for them. "Physically we didn't front up last week but they tore into each other in training and carried that into the game.
"There is plenty of blood in the dressing room and some sore bodies. Defensively we were strong and offensively we showed some great patience and restraint."
Tigers coach Terry Matterson:
(On Jason Payne's sending-off:) "He's beside himself. He feels he let his team-mates down. It was probably a bit of frustration from the young kid. He just went over the top. "The performance was an improvement on last week (a 72-4 thrashing by St Helens). That's one positive I've found.
"The best thing is that we have a week off now and hopefully we can get a few bodies back and regroup for the last three games. We've got to find some form."
