Catalans Dragons have appointed former Bradford assistant coach Mick Potter as their new head coach, succeeding Steve Deakin who was sacked in December. Potter was Matthew Elliott's right-hand man from 1996 to 1999 and has spent the last four years at St George-Illawarra.
"David Waite, Matt Adamson and Paul Donkin have done a fantastic job here with the team since Christmas," said chief executive Grant Meyer.
"We're looking forward to the next stage. That means a single head coach."
Potter hopes to be in charge for the Dragons' third home match against Leeds on 11 March.
He was recommended for the post by former Great Britain coach Waite, now the Dragons' director of football, and played under him at St George.
After leaving Bradford in 1999, Potter took charge of the New South Wales U17s, guiding them to consecutive State of Origin wins over Queensland.
