Warrington's difficult start to the season continued as Huddersfield fought back to beat the Wolves on Sunday. The injury-hit Wolves started well with tries from Chris Bridge and debutant Richie Barnett giving them a 10-0 lead.
Chris Nero and Albert Torrens both went over for Huddersfield before the break, and their side took the lead through Martin Aspinwall's 52nd-minute try.
The Wolves regained the lead through Bridge, but tries for Nero and Stephen Wild won the game for the Giants.
Warrington finished fourth last season, their highest-ever Super League finish, but have started this season with two straight defeats.
But the Wolves made the running early on, with Bridge's first try putting them ahead after just three minutes as he got on the end of Lee Briers' kick.
It got better for Warrington four minutes later, as Bridge and Toa Kohe-Love combined to give Barnett a simple run to the line on his debut.
Huddersfield half-backs Chris Thorman and Robbie Paul kept their heads and it was through their promptings that Torrens and Nero were able to score in quick succession and send the sides into half-time level at 10-10.
The impressive Wild put Aspinwall over to the Giants ahead for the first time, but the spirited Wolves took control again as Bridge went over.
Nero scored his second after good work from Eorl Crabtree and Paul March, and Wild put the icing on the cake with a 50m run to the line before Henry Fa'afili scored a late consolation try for Warrington.
Huddersfield coach Jon Sharp on new signing Stephen Wild: "Stephen has a fantastic engine, and he is very athletic.
"We knew that he had got some pace, but I thought he was awesome defensively and his decision-making was fantastic.
"I thought we showed tremendous character after going 10-0 down."
Warrington coach Paul Cullen: "It was much improved, but we still have a lot of work to do.
"We are bitterly disappointed we've not got the two points. We hurt ourselves with the penalties we conceded in the first and second tackles.
"We lost a bit of momentum after going 10-0 up and let Huddersfield back in the game."
