| | Thursday, 29 August, 2002, 09:40 GMT 10:40 UK Tigers duo handed new deals  Nathan Sykes is in his testimonial season Castleford Tigers have agreed new deals with forwards Nathan Sykes and Lee Harland. The pair, who were called up for the Yorkshire Origin side earlier this season, have signed two-year deals with the club. Coach Graham Steadman said: "As we shape the squad for next season it was of great importance that we re-signed our senior representative players. "It gives us that element of experience in the pack."
"I'm very pleased to have got my future sorted out," he told the club's website. "Staying at Cas is a bonus because I have been with the club my entire career. "I believe that Graham Steadman is taking us in the right direction, I've certainly been impressed since he stepped in." Harland is in his eighth season after previous spells with Halifax and Leeds. "We are going well at the moment and I can only see us improving," said the 28-year-old.
