Whitehaven coach Dave Rotheram has said he is 'really pleased' with the 62-0 win against Blackpool in the Northern Rail Cup. The result keeps Whitehaven on top of Group 5 on eleven points, with Barrow their nearest rivals on 9.
"We adapted to the conditions well," Rotheram told BBC Radio Cumbria. "It's like a swimming pool out there, but we scored twelve tries."
"Everyone stuck to the gameplan and I needed to say little at half time."
