Peacock was recently named the world's best forward |
Great Britain captain Jamie Peacock is the only British player named in the 2006 World XIII, as selected by Rugby League World magazine. Two years ago the line-up had four British players, with two in the 2005 team, but the Lions' 2006 Tri-Nations failure sees that figure drop to one.
Paul Wellens, Brian Carney and Gareth Ellis were all shortlisted but failed to win a place in the team.
The rest of the team consists of eight Australians and four New Zealanders.
