Sculthorpe missed last season's Tri-Nations Series because of injury |
Paul Sculthorpe will be out for between six and eight weeks after tearing medial knee ligaments during Tuesday's Test win over New Zealand. The St Helens loose forward limped off midway through the opening half of the game at Knowsley Road and a scan confirmed the extent of the damage.
The 28-year-old was captaining Great Britain for the first time.
Sculthorpe missed the 2005 Tri-Nations Series after having major surgery on his right knee last August.
Saints are currently two points clear of Leeds at the top of the engage Super League and face a Powergen Challenge Cup semi-final tie against Hull KR next month.
