Aussies re-appoint coach Bennett
Wayne Bennett
Bennett coached Australia to their 44-4 win over GB in the Tri-Nations
Brisbane Broncos boss Wayne Bennett has been re-appointed as Australia's rugby league coach, but the debate over who should captain the side continues.

Bennett wants to name the captain now to help solve a dispute between Queensland and New South Wales.

Queensland have been pushing for Darren Lockyer to be re-appointed now, while NSW want to wait to see how Andrew Johns fares on his comeback.

The ARL voted to keep appointing the skipper after the team has been chosen.

The board also confirmed Australia's participation in the 2005 Tri Nations.
