Tries: Hall, Jones-Bishop, McGuire Goals: Sinfield 4
Hull FC (0) 0

Leeds blanked Hull FC as they eased to a 20-0 victory at Headingley.

After Ryan Hall's fourth-minute try was successfully converted by Kevin Sinfield, Leeds' 6-0 half-time lead was unchanged until the 67th minute.

Sinfield then kicked a penalty with 13 minutes remaining before successfully converting Ben Jones-Bishop's try seven minutes later.

Danny McGuire went over a minute from time, again converted by Sinfield, as Leeds cruised to an easy win.

POST-MATCH REACTION

Leeds coach Brian McDermott:

"Am I pleased with the spirit? I am but I don't think that's ever been a problem.

"Last week's defeat at Catalan Dragons hasn't been erased from our memories but, even then, the spirit, passion and desire to work for each other was there.

"It was just in the wrong areas but this was as focused a performance as I've seen for a while. I hope I see that again next week."

Hull coach Richard Agar:

"Our play selection and offload selection was quite simply asking for trouble.

"Tonight was a setback but we've been building our performances in recent weeks and I'm certain we will see a reaction in the right manner next week."
