Brough takes his Super League points tally to 64 for the season
Danny Brough scored 18 points to help Huddersfield up to second in Super League with victory over Hull KR.
Kris Welham put the hosts in front but Jermaine McGillvary's try drew Giants level before Brough put them ahead.
Michael Lawrence extended Giants' lead after the break but KR hit back with tries from Ben Fisher and Welham.
But a second try from Brough, and three tries in the closing 10 minutes by Simon Grix, Luke Robinson and Dave Hodgson proved too much for the Robins.
It is the third time in a row the Giants have scored more than 30 points on a visit to Craven Park but it was the hosts who made the perfect start.
KR's new signing Willie Mason had a hand in the opening try after two minutes when his speculative kick out of the fifth tackle bounced kindly for centre Welham to pounce.
Craig Hall converted for a 6-0 lead but it was short lived as Huddersfield raced ahead with two tries in seven minutes.
McGillvary made up for his earlier fumble of Mason's kick by intercepting Grix's pass and racing away to score before Brough added the conversion.
The Giants scrum-half then profited from hooker David Faiumu's break to score his first - which he converted - although there was a hint of a forward pass.
Rovers increased their intensity and won four successive penalties in Huddersfield's 20-metre area but failed to convert the sustained pressure into points.
A floodlight failure eight minutes before the break did not interrupt play but half time was extended by 10 minutes to allow repairs to be made.
Huddersfield began the second half well and Kevin Brown and Lee Gilmour worked well down the left to put Lawrence away.
Brough's kick put the Giants 18-6 ahead but Fisher's score cut the lead back to eight points after he squirmed out of a tackle to score from dummy-half.
Brough enjoyed some good fortune for his second when his grubber kick bounced off Blake Green into the path of Gilmour.
He hacked on and despite Peter Fox's attempts to reach the ball it was Brough who got the touchdown.
Welham struck back for the hosts and when Scott Murrell's goal went over it looked like they might produce a late rally.
But Robinson put Grix in from dummy-half before scoring himself minutes later and Brough produced a final flourish to ensure Hodgson crossed the whitewash at the death.
Hull KR coach Justin Morgan: "I thought there was a lot of improvement on the last couple of weeks.
"With 12 or 15 minutes to go I had a good feeling about going on with the game and I don't think the final score demonstrated the effort and closeness of the game.
"We made some strides forward. The desire was there but defensively we have to come up with some better decisions.
"You've got to give credit to Huddersfield. When they make a line break, they generally capitalise and score some points. They're one of the form teams of Super League."
Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown: "I thought we started maybe with the wrong mindset of trying to score points from the start of the game.
"Once we knuckled down in that second half, I thought we looked too good for them.
"It was the best game I've seen Jerry [McGillvary] play. His concentration for 80 minutes was terrific.
"He thinks of himself as a Super League player and I think everyone will probably agree. He's doing a really good job.
"Danny [Brough] played some great stuff. He and Kevin Brown were pretty strong in the second half. As a whole, we're happy to come here and get the points."
