Gleeson has two England international caps |
Barrow Raiders have signed Halifax hooker Mark Gleeson for the 2011 Championship season. The 28-year-old missed the tail end of last season through injury, but featured seven times for the Championship Grand Final winners. As well as his success with Fax, the Wigan-born dummy-half has Super League experience with Warrington making 140 appearances, scoring 12 tries. Gleeson has two England caps, the first of which he won in 2005 against France. He becomes the first signing for the new Raiders coaching team of Garry Schofield and Nigel Wright, who were appointed on Thursday.
