Mason admitted standing on Fielden's leg in the 16th minute |
Four Super League players have been handed suspensions by the Rugby Football League. Huddersfield's Keith Mason and Darrell Griffin and Wigan's Stuart Fielden were charged with incidents that led to a mass brawl in Sunday's game. Mason has been given a three-match ban while both Griffin and Fielden face a one-game suspension. Hull FC's Jordan Tansey is banned for two games for a dangerous throw on Clint Schifcofske of Crusaders. Mason admitted to intentionally standing on the leg of Fielden and then running in and pushing the same opponent in an aggressive manner in the match between Wigan and Huddersfield last Sunday. Griffin and Fielden both pleaded guilty for fighting in the same incident. All four players have been fined £300 each.
