Bradford half-back Paul Sykes has been banned for two games by the Rugby Football League for making a dangerous throw on Harlequins prop Oliver Wilkes.

The disciplinary committee also fined the 28-year-old £300 for the incident in Friday's 35-18 victory for Quins.

Salford's Ryan Boyle has been fined the same amount and given a one-match ban for a tackle on Wigan's Stuart Fielden.

Huddersfield's David Faiumu avoided a ban but was fined £200 for a dangerous tackle on Crusader's Nick Youngquest.

Faiumu pleaded guilty but avoided suspension due to his previous exemplary disciplinary record.
