England coach Tony Smith says the competitive nature of Super League will be reflected in his Four Nations squad.
Smith, who chose 15 of his 23-man World Cup squad from Leeds and St Helens last year, used players from 11 Super League clubs for June's 66-12 win over France.
A similar approach is likely against France, Australia and New Zealand for the tournament which starts in October.
"The team will reflect how close Super League has been. There's more talent coming through," he said.
Smith is set to announce the initial members of the squad on Thursday from the clubs who have failed to reach the end-of-season play-offs.
He will then finalise the squad after Super League's Grand Final on 10 October.
Smith's 2008 World Cup squad was drawn from Six Super League clubs.
Bradford's Sam Burgess, Sean O'Loughlin of Wigan and Hull FC's Gareth Raynor all missed the tournament through injury and Smith is hopeful he will not be robbed of such talent for the Four Nations.
"There's nobody of huge concern that I know of and that's great and I hope that continues," he said.
"If it does happen, though, I think we're better prepared to cope with it.
"There are a lot more players to consider this year and that's probably been shown by the evenness of the competition.
"There's a lot more players from a lot more teams putting their hands up because there is more talent coming through."
