Northampton Casuals coach Joe Smith says he wants to see his side playing in National Three within five years. Casuals face Jarrow Vikings in the Conference final on Sunday 13 September but Smith is already looking to the future, planning for three promotions. Smith told BBC Radio Northampton that his side should be playing higher: "We've got good sponsorship and a good set-up at Rush Mills. "Within five years, we want to be playing National Three as a minimum." Casuals beat Devon Sharks 52-22 in the semi-final, and Smith wants his side to round off their successful season in style. "[The semi-final] was one of the best performances I've seen from our team," he said. "We're pleased to be in the final, and we're looking forward to Jarrow. They're a hugely physical side." The Conference final between Northampton Casuals and Jarrow Vikings kicks off at 1330 BST at Derby RFC's Haslams ground on Sunday 13 September.
