Cullen was delighted with his side's effort against Whitehaven.
Widnes Vikings coach Paul Cullen was delighted that his side secured their Championship play-off place with a 58-10 win over Whitehaven on Saturday.
And Cullen says he has every confidence in his side's ability to win away from home in the play-offs.
Cullen told BBC Radio Merseyside: "We've got great confidence from what we have done today.
"We know we have got to go away from home in the play-offs and we know we can come away with a win."
Cullen found his side's display even more impressive given they had lost a number of loan players before the games as their agreements with the club had expired.
"The players really stood up - we'd lost the services of Kevin Penny, Craig Hall, who we see playing for Hull FC, and Jon Grayshon," Cullen added.
"We've gone in without any of them and rattled up 60 points against one of the best teams in the competition."
Widnes ran in 30 unanswered points in the second half, as centre Richard Varkulis and prop Richard Fletcher both picked up a brace of tries.
