Workington failed to make it back-to-back wins when they crashed to a 22-16 home defeat by Keighley Cougars in Championship One on Sunday.

Town came into the game on the back of a defeat of London Skolars but ended the first half 12-0 down as the Cougars established control.

Despite running in three late tries, two converted, Town fell short but picked up a precious bonus point.

Next up for Workington is a trip to face unbeaten Dewsbury on Sunday.
