Northampton Casuals were crowned Conference East Grand Final winners after a 46-22 victory over Bury Titans.
The Casuals will now play north midland champions Parkside Hawks in the national quarter-finals, with Casuals captain Matthew Derry hopeful of a win.
He said: "Parkside score a lot of tries, but also concede quite a few.
"We've got a solid and aggressive defence that people don't want to run at, and in doing that we've made teams not want to play us."
It was the Casuals third victory over Bury Titans this term, after 76-4 and 42-12 results earlier in the season. The result extends their winning run to nine competitive games.
And Derry is confident that the club can continue to progress next season, with the Casuals applying to enter the Midlands Division.
"I see no reason why we couldn't be in the National Conference," said Derry.
"We've got the players, we've got the financial backing and we've got the youth set-up. It's about applying that and sticking with the hard graft."
