England endured a disappointing World Cup in Australia last year |
The BBC has won the right to show England's clash with Australia in this autumn's Gillette Four Nations series. The game at Wigan's DW Stadium, which will be England's second game in the competition, takes place on Saturday 31 October at 1430 GMT. The BBC will also show the France-Australia game on Saturday 7 November and highlights of the other matches on the network and via the red button. Television coverage for the tournament is shared between the BBC and Sky. Richard Lewis, the Rugby Football League chairman, said: "The fact that two major broadcasters are showing all the fixtures live underlines just what a prestigious and fantastic tournament this year's Four Nations promises to be."
