Barrow's Australian forward Ned Catic will miss the Northern Rail Cup final against Widnes at Blackpool on Sunday after being banned for two matches.

The ex-Wakefield and Castleford second rower was sent off five minutes from time in the Raiders' 46-16 Championship defeat at Batley on 28 June.

He used foul and abusive language towards referee Ronnie Laughton.

Catic missed the start of the season after being dismissed for dissent in his last match for the Tigers in 2008.
