Coventry Bears were unable to extend their winning run at Bristol Sonics on Saturday, going down 42-20. Bears, who went into the match on the back of two victories, looked good for a third when Mike Randall scored the game's opening try. But the home side hit back and were eight points ahead by half time. And, during a 24-minute spell after the interval, Bristol added as many points to run out comfortable winners in front of their own supporters.
