Nick Youngquest made his debut against Whitehaven

Gateshead Thunder will have Paul Franze, Nick Youngquest and Kris Kahler available for next weekend's Challenge Cup quarter-final against St Helens.

Despite figuring for Pia in a previous round the new signings remain eligible to play as the French club are not members of the Rugby Football League.

The three players made scoring debuts in Sunday's 38-34 defeat by Whitehaven.

Thunder will be without Carcassone half-back Russ Aitken as his contract does not expire until 31 May.

The tie will be played at Gateshead International Stadium on Saturday 30 May.
