St Helens held on to top spot in Super League as they beat Harlequins to end the Londoners' three-game unbeaten run.
Tries by Chris Flannery and Paul Wellens put Saints in control at half-time, with Sean Long setting up a third for James Roby after the restart.
Louis McCarthy-Scarsbrook burrowed over for a Quins score, converted by Rob Purdham, who added the extras when Luke Dorn scored a breakaway second try.
But Keiron Cunningham's late touchdown ensured Saints ended the game on top.
St Helens coach Mick Potter on Sean Long:
"Longy had a very good game and his kicking game was superb.
"He kicked more goals than he missed and that can only be good for his confidence.
"Defensively I thought he was okay as well and it was a tough game there tonight."
Harlequins coach Brian McDermott:
"I'd like the final scoreline to have been a little bit closer but Keiron scored one of his trademark tries and in the end it was a fair reflection of the game.
"We didn't do what we wanted to do up until the 55th minute. Defensively we were outstanding, but we threw nothing at St Helens for 45 to 50 minutes."
