Rotheram was bemused by his side's display at Hunslet
Workington Town coach Dave Rotheram has blamed individual errors for his side's second-half collapse in Monday's 28-12 Championship One defeat by Hunslet.
Town conceded four second-half tries as the hosts took control and Rotheram was left to rue a result that leaves his side third from bottom after six games.
"Players have these brain explosions on the field and think they can play on their own," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"They went completely away from the instructions they were given."
With a week's break ahead of the visit of London Skolars to Derwent Park, Rotheram is keen to get his side back to winning.
Skolars are only kept off the bottom by Rochdale's 10-point penalty, and the Town coach is determined that his side must not waste an opportunity to put points on the board.
"This has come at a good time for us, we can take stock and move our season along," he said.
"We've got 12 games left and this week it's a case of working hard, getting it right for the Skolars game.
"The danger we might fall into is complacency and we've got to warn against that, we've got to turn up and win well."
