Workington Town earned their first points of the season with a 21-14 win against Rochdale Hornets in Championship One on Saturday. Prop Tommy Brindle returned from injury to impose himself on the game with a brace of tries, and was joined on the scoresheet by wing Stephen Dawes. Carl Forber made it four conversions for the season with his hat-trick of successful kicks. Dave Rotheram's side travel to league leaders Oldham on Sunday.
