Workington were beaten twice over the Easter weekend to drop to eighth in Championship One after four games. Town went down 24-16 to Hunslet on Good Friday, despite holding a 12-10 lead at the break. That was followed by a 42-28 loss at Swinton on Monday, where seven converted tries were the difference. On a brighter note, Carl Forber's two tries and four conversions in the two defeats took the half-back past 500 points for the club.
