Huddersfield scored 30 unanswered points against Hull KR to keep up the pressure on Leeds and St Helens at the top of the Super League table.

After Kris Welham and Liam Colbon scored in the first 20 minutes, the Robins looked on their way to victory.

But the Giants upped their game with Michael Lawrence and David Hodgson both scoring tries before the break.

Shaun Lunt and Stephen Wild also crossed while Lawrence ran 80 metres for his second try late on.

Hull KR coach Justin Morgan:
"I am going to teach my side this week to throw forward passes, stand offside all day and tackle round the head because every time we get him [referee Ben Thaler], we get the raw end of the stick.

"He needs to spend some time learning the rules and getting in a position where he can understand the game better.

"We turned up with the right attitude but got caned by the bloke in the middle and that is not acceptable in my eyes.

"I'd just can it [Easter double-headers], can it altogether. They talk about revenue but let's get some good games. That was not a good game. You can't ask them to play Friday and Monday. It is too hard, way too hard."

Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown:
"Every time we win it is the referee's fault. Ben Thaler is a good referee because he refs both teams the same.

"He makes mistakes like we all do but he gets on with it. Some referees are influenced by the crowd but he is not so we'd take him any day of the week.

"Liam Fulton is no good, he's done a medial. I'm not sure how bad but they're saying at least six weeks."
