England women are just one game away from the final of the Rugby League World Cup despite losing to Australia.

Brenda Dobek's side lost 22-4 to the hosts in their final pool game but still finished second in their group.

Bradford Thunderbirds winger Rachel Twibill was England's only tryscorer in the match at Stocklands Park in Kawana.

Standing in the way of England and a place in the final will be world champions New Zealand. The two teams will meet on Wednesday.
