England's women followed up Thursday's thrashing of Russia with an equally impressive 54-4 win against France on Saturday at the World Cup in Australia. Wakefield Panthers stand-off and England captain Gemma Walsh scored a hat-trick of tries. Claire Hall also bagged two as the French were comfortably beaten. England now face a far tougher prospect against Australia on Monday in their final group stage game. The final is due to be held on Saturday 15 November.
