Wakefield held off Catalans to end their eight-game losing run and climb to seventh in the Super League table.

The Wildcats led 26-10 at the interval with tries from Sean Gleeson, Damien Blanch, Danny Brough and Ryan Atkins.

But the Dragons, without a host of regulars, fought back with tries from Olivier Elima, Jean-Philippe Baile, Sebastien Raguin and Thomas Bosc.

It took a second try of the match from Blanch to secure Wakefield their first win in nine league and cup matches.
