Aston's side are currently seventh in National League One

Sheffield Eagles chief executive Mark Aston has claimed that two of his players have been illegally tapped up by Super League clubs.

"We stand to lose one of our players next year to Super League," Aston told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"It's been done before the date it can be done.

"I have dropped the name and person into the [Rugby Football League], and there's also been an illegal approach to a player sat in a restaurant."
