Third straight defeat for Rhinos

Rugby League

Ipswich Rhinos' mid-season misery continued with a 40-22 defeat at St Albans on Saturday.

It means the Suffolk side has now won just one of their last six games in the NRL Conference Premier Division South.

Ipswich, who were badly affected by injuries, allowed the Centurions to run in six first-half tries.

Dan Kerr, Darryl Walters and Adam Cook [2] touched down for the Rhinos while Pete LeMarquand kicked three of his four conversions.

Ipswich's next game is away to the league leaders West London Sharks on Saturday 12 July.
