Ipswich Rhinos made an impressive start to the new Rugby League Conference Premier Division South season with a 32-12 victory at South London Storm. The Suffolk side trailed last season's runners-up by 12 points but fought back impressively at the Twickenham Stoop. James Goldring and Adam Cook both scored two tries for the Rhinos, with the other touchdowns coming from Darryl Walters and Mike Fields. Pete LeMarquand converted four of the Rhinos' six tries. The Rhinos next game is away to United Services Portsmouth on Saturday 3 May.
