Whitehaven boss Ged Stokes has said results are more important than performances following their 32-18 win against Featherstone on Sunday. He told BBC Radio Cumbria: "We showed a lot of desire in being able to hold Featherstone out for long periods. "Especially when we were handing over possession fairly cheaply with the errors we were making. "But at the end of the day I'd rather win ugly and get three points than lose pretty that's for sure."
