Barrow Raiders chairman Des Johnson has promised more new arrivals at Craven Park following their 44-18 win against rivals Keighley on Sunday.

Despite taking eight wins from eight games in National League Two, Johnson remains keen to bolster the squad.

"There are a couple in the offing at the moment, one on the backburner and one we've been looking at for a while," Johnson told BBC Radio Cumbria.

"There are one or two who want to come in but it's whether we want them."
