March is hoping to sign former Knight Adam Sullivan |
York City Knights have lost scrum-half Danny Grimshaw, 22, for the rest of the season, adding to their injury woes. He has been ruled out with the same problem affecting captain Scott Rhodes, and needs an operation on a disc which is bulging on to his spinal cord. City Knights player-coach Paul March told BBC Radio York: "I'm not going to be rushed in to bringing another half-back in. "We are looking but the minute we'll go with myself and Danny Ratcliffe." | Hopefully we can get pen to paper on Monday for Adam Sullivan before the game against Doncaster and he'll be announced to the crowd |
March added: "If we pick up any injuries or bad form at least we know who is available and who's not and we'll dip straight in and get them if we need to." Meanwhile the club are confident of signing former Knights prop forward Adam Sullivan. The 25-year-old spent three years at the Huntington Stadium before leaving to play for Lyon in France at the end of last season. March said: "Adam came training on Tuesday and I introduced him to the lads. "Hopefully we can get pen to paper on Monday before the game against Doncaster and he'll be announced to the crowd, hopefully either at half-time or before the game which is pleasing for us."
