Barrow Raiders boss Dave Clark believes their home tie with Wakefield in the Challenge Cup fifth round will give his players and the fans a big boost. "It's important for us and important for our supporters that it's a home draw," he told BBC Radio Cumbria. "We've got fantastic support locally and we wanted to reward them with the chance to watch a Super League side. "We'll go out there, look to compete as much as we can and hopefully we'll get a good result from our behalf." Clark was also able to confirm the arrival of full-back Craig Bower on a four week trial as Barrow look to strengthen their squad. | MESSAGEBOARD |
"Craig has come from Thurston last year and Rochdale at the beginning of the year, and he'll help us out in that full-back position," he said. "He's here and it's important we get him involved. We've been trying to fill that position and noone has been able to fill it so I hope he can fill in."
