Salford forward Luke Adamson has warned Wakefield that the Reds intend forcing them into submission in Sunday's Challenge Cup tie at The Willows. "We've done lots of work on our defence including wrestling in the gym," he told the Manchester Evening News. "Our preparation for the tie has been superb - it will be a good test against a Super League team. "I'm buzzing. It will be great to take on a Super League club and see how we go. And I'm quietly confident." Adamson added: "Wakefield are a very strong side and they're going into the game after good wins over Warrington and Huddersfield." But Salford are in form themselves, having started the season with 10 wins from their first 11 games - and had the perfect warm-up for Sunday's fourth round clash with last Friday night's 16-16 draw at home to Widnes. "We certainly welcomed the tough game against Widnes," said Adamson. "It was perfect preparation. "Hopefully we can put on a good show and the fans in the Shed will really get behind us and create a cracking atmosphere."
