Godwin's try gave the Bulls the perfect start at Odsal |
Bradford (22) 50 Tries: Godwin, Evans, Tadulala 3, Sykes, Jeffries, Hape, Nero Goals: Deacon 6, Harris
Castleford (4) 4 Try: Fletcher
Bradford winger Semi Tadulala went over for a hat-trick as the Bulls ran riot against basement side Castleford. After Wayne Godwin's early try from dummy-half, Adam Fletcher responded for the Tigers but after that it was one-way traffic as the Bulls dominated. James Evans, Paul Sykes and Tadulala also added first-half tries. Ben Jeffries, Shontayne Hape and Chris Nero added to Castleford's misery after the break while Tadulala went over twice and Deacon kicked six goals. Bradford coach Steve McNamara "I'm really pleased with them. This game is the really tough one after the Easter period. "I'm very pleased with the lads and they should gain a lot of confidence by scoring a lot of points like that. "We possibly put four or five chances down over the line, too." Castleford coach Terry Matterson "We haven't got a squad big enough to handle Super League at the moment, never
mind Easter. "We knew it was going to be difficult but I was hoping days like this wouldn't happen."
