Melbourne beat Manly 34-8 in the NRL Grand Final |
Melbourne Storm have included 11 members of the victorious Grand Final team in the squad to face Leeds Rhinos in the Carnegie World Club Challenge. But the Australians will have to do without captain Cameron Smith in their 21-man squad as he is staying behind for the birth of his first child.
The annual showdown between the Super League and NRL champions takes place at Elland Road on 29 February.
Melbourne won the NRL Grand Final courtesy of a 34-8 win over Manly.
Leeds, who won the world title at the same venue in 2005 when beating Canterbury, will face a squad mixed with youth and experience.
Centre Matt King, who scored in the NRL final, and second rower Clint Newton will be missing as they are both now playing in the Super League with Warrington and Hull KR respectively.
Second rower Michael Croker and stand-off Greg Inglis are injured, but prop Antonio Kaufusi is named in the squad after recovering from knee reconstruction.
Melbourne arrive in England on Tuesday and will play a warm-up match against Halifax at the Shay on 22 February.
