Celtic Crusaders made it three wins out of three in the Northern Rail Cup after easing past Sheffield Eagles. They led after three minutes when Ian Webster went over with Jace Van Dijk converting before Tony Duggan's converted try made it 12-0.
Two tries from Mark Lennon along with ones from Mark Dalle Cort and Damien Quinn helped Crusaders to a 30-0 lead. Eagles finally scored through Mitch Stringer and Rob Worrincy but Paul Ballard put the game out of sight.
