Hock's Wigan saw their brave run end against Leeds |
Wigan second row Gareth Hock has been given a two-match ban after being found guilty of making a dangerous tackle in his side's 36-6 defeat by Leeds. Hock, who was placed on report for a suspect challenge on Matt Diskin, was also fined 500 by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee.
Hock will be able to count one of his club's pre-season friendlies as part of the suspension.
So he will miss Wigan's opening match of the 2008 engage Super League season.
