Leeds set up a showdown with St Helens in Super League's Grand Final with an emphatic win over Wigan at Headingley. Kevin Sinfield kept alive his run of scoring points in every game with an early penalty for the Rhinos.
And his side were soon 16-0 up after an incisive Jamie Peacock break sent Brent Webb in and Ali Lauitiiti powered over.
Wigan fought back with a Pat Richards try, but the plucky Warriors ran out of steam, Rob Burrow and Webb sealing a deserved win for the home side.
Delighted Rhinos boss Tony Smith said: "I felt my boys were ready for this and they did a great job - I really can't fault them."
Man-of-the-match Jamie Peacock added: "Wigan have been playing well recently but I think fatigue showed in the end.

"Next week it will be two good teams going at it in a great stadium. It's a big task for us but we are going to be up for it."
It was a case of one hard game too many for the visitors following their heroic but energy sapping victories over Hull FC and Bradford.
And Leeds were merciless in applying pressure from start to finish.
In fact, they could have had more scores, Wigan centre Phil Bailey denying Scott Donald with a last-ditch ankle tap with the score at 10-0.
The Rhinos thought they had put the game beyond their visitors two minutes into the second half when they pounced on a stray pass from Wigan second rower Gareth Hock.
Stand-off Danny McGuire tapped the loose ball towards the line but slow-motion replays showed he lost control just short of the line.

With man-of-the-match Peacock setting a superb lead up front and Burrow causing problems with his tricky footwork, the Rhinos continued to threaten.
Immaculate kicking from Sinfield, who added two second-half drop goals, meant that Wigan were unable to claw their way back on terms.
Richards, Super League's leading scorer, converted his own try to cut the deficit to 10 points as the game entered the final quarter.
But it was only a fleeting fightback, with Leeds conjuring a hat-trick of late tries to put an exclamation mark on their win.
Wigan boss Brian Noble conceded his team were seen off by a superior side.
"We couldn't quite restrict them enough out there," he said. "Leeds were the better team on the night because of all the little things they did well.
"It's disappointing, but good luck to them - they've been playing well recently."
