Promotion-hunting Celtic Crusaders held on for a 26-20 win away at Swinton Lions on Sunday afternoon. The visitors built a 20-point lead but three Swinton tries in the last 10 minutes - Mike Smith, Andy Saywell and Chris Hough crossing - stung Crusaders.
Swinton had taken a fifth-minute lead when Dean Gorton forced his way over and Lee Marsh added the extras.
But Crusaders took control with tries from Grant Epton, Tony Duggan, Damien Quinn, Neale Wyatt and Mark Dalle Cort.
Crusaders coach Neil Dixon said: "Swinton, to their credit, kept playing but the game was over when we led 26-6.
"Full credit to Swinton, they closed the score down and fought hard to get a bonus point for their last 15 minutes of effort."
Crusaders remain in third place in National League Two, five points behind leaders Featherstone Rovers but with a game in hand.
